While I appreciate the enthusiasm of raw feeding proponents, it did
not work for our boxer and he became very ill, very quickly. So I
would not recommend that particularly when it's clear your dog is very
sensitive.
Our current boxer was finally recently diagnosed with inflammatory
bowel disease after many food trials, blood work, ultrasounds, and
eventually scoping his upper and lower intestine. It has nothing to do
with the food he is eating. But you do have to look at food first.
Switching him to a novel and high fiber people food diet helped to
clear up his skin, but eventually GI symptoms returned.
There is also the possibility of boxer colitis among other GI issues.
If you have access to an internal medicine specialist, that is your
best best. Good luck!
