Re: [boxer lovers] Agility

My boxer is a certified therapy dog, so I cannot speak personally on agility.  However, I have had many trainers recommend, since boxers are such high energy pups, that agility is an excellent outlet for that.  We have other dogs and are very active, so between all of those things, our under 2 year old boxer is very calm and very muscular.  She is both physically and mentally challenged every day.

I am curious to know if any of you have trained your boxers for agility.

I am thinking ahead (too far) and wondering how a boxer would do in

agility. I know my current boxer could have nailed an agility course

when he was a youngster. I am even thinking of training him in agility

now.

Please share your experiences (if any) with training your boxer in

agility.
