GOSH! I wish I could help you but we are in TN. I will put the word out.
Have you contacted folks at the bases close to you? you may also be able to
contact some of the rescues in the area. One of the Foster homes may be
willing to take them in while you are gone and they are used to falling in
love with babies and sending them away. My biggest problem would be giving
them back when you come home<G>
Check on the bases in your home area. You might, specifically, talk to the
folks involved in the K-9 units. They may have someone or e able to give you
some leads.

Hello group my name is Tre and I live the southern Maryland area I have two
beautiful Boxers who are my heart, they are my babies. I am in serious need
of someone who can baby sit them while I am here in Afghanistan for the time
being. I will be home for good July of next year but I will most likely come
home in December for a R&R. My sister has informed me that she can no longer
take care of my house and my two dogs because she has to work and is going
back to school full time. Plus she is back with her ex-boyfriend so
basically I'm screwed...I preferably need someone with a yard meaning a
house not an apartment in the Maryland, DC or Northern Virginia area. If
anyone is available please let me know or if you know of someone who wants
to help me out just until I get back. They both are big babies and very
lovable, my female MJ is so quiet and nonchalant..a little skittish until
she gets to know you that's because I rescued her from a bad family and she
is just used to me or my sister now and she is just now coming around to
trusting people to love her. My male King is just that..a King, he is so
loyal and a lover type Boxer..if you rub on him or show him any type of
love..even call his name and he will light up. Neither of them are an issue
they just are used to getting tons of love from me and my sister isn't a dog
person and doesn't understand the amount of attention and love needed for a
dog let alone the Boxer breed. Again if anyone wants to help me out PLEASE
