Picked this off a Tennessee TV News site:
Scammers are posting ads on Craigslist and Ebay promising free,
pure-bred puppies according to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs.
All the consumer needs to do is pay for shipping to receive the pet.
However, once someone pays the shipping price, that person is then asked
to pay for a special crate for their new pet, along with other expenses.
In the end, the consumer is without a puppy and out hundreds of dollars.
State officials are stressing this is a scam.
Don't know the scope of this scam -- just remember "If it sounds too
good to be true, it's probably a scam."
