I have my daughter's new Boxer puppy at my house in Wetumpka, Alabama. My daughter is stationed at Minot AFB in North Dakota. She couldn't find a breeder, so I found one down here.
We've called the airlines and are having a hard time finding one that will fly a "snub nosed" breed. Delta will, but they want $275 and offer no military discounts. She is a young airman and can't afford that kind of money.
Back when I did rescue work, we would set up a "bucket brigade" type of transportation. One person would start the journey and meet someone else, they would transfer the dog to that person and so on, until the dog was near their destination. If I could find a few folks on here that would help me with this, I would appreciate it. My daughter would be willing to help with gas expenses.
Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated by my daughter. She is a police officer in the Air Force, guarding our nuclear missles.
