Three weeks ago I had to have my best friend Mickey put down, he was 10 years old and was suffering from a mast cell tumor on his right rear leg and severe DM. I also had his litter mate sister Jackie, a retired champion, put down at the same time and also crippled with DM. I only had Jackie for 3 1/2 years,,, got her from her previous owner Susan who passed from pancreatic cancer. Susan was a special person and will never be forgotten. IN 2000 we acquired our first boxer from Susan her name was Lucy, she was also a retired Champion and later went on to be a Dame of the Year and Dame of Merit. Lucy was bred twice and Mickey and Jackie were from her 1st litter. I had Mickey from birth.
This is my way of saying goodbye to my friends, Mickey, Jackie , Lucy and Susan. Love you all You will be missed. Bob
