RE: [boxer lovers] Boxer breeders Texas

If you are looking for a breeder, please go through the ABC. They are the
best way to contact reputable breeders. With her history, I would do that
rather than taking the chance of introducing a rescue adult. She may not be
willing to accept and older dog and I would not want to stress her or chance
the other dog's safety.

Buying from a reputable breeder WILL cost more money initially. The puppy
will be more expensive than the ones you'll find in the newspaper. BUT, the
puppy will have parents more likely to be healthy. DO NOT be afraid to ask
for the papers giving you the results for health tests. The breeders will
take it as a sign of you having taken the time to educate yourself. go to
the American Boxer Club's website and you will find a LOT of info there and
a puppy application.

When you fill out the application, they will pass it along to breeders who
are currently breeding or expecting to breed. the breeders will contact you
and you can ask your questions then. There is a lot to learn about pups and
breeding and the best resource is the ABC website and the websites from
their members.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Subject: [boxer lovers] Boxer breeders Texas

I live in Ajijic, Mexico and have a 3 legged female boxer. She was rescued
from being bait for pit bull fights. I have worked hard with her to overcome
the problems she has. In the beginning she killed other dogs but now I have
a German Shepherd and they are best buddies and get along perfectly. I am
ready to introduce another dog to my family and I want a male boxer. Both my
boxer and German Shepherd are females so I need a male. The male would need
to be no older than 3 months. Any recommendations of breeders in Texas or
Arizona?
