Ocean heroes can be scientists—like the first hero, John Halas, who worked with coral reefs—educators, conservationists, or more. Last year's Junior Hero was an 8-year-old girl named Sophi, who raised money for shark conservation through bake sales and lemonade stands. Nominate your ocean hero at oceana.org/heroes by June 20. You can also pledge to be an ocean hero yourself this summer! | | | | You are receiving this message because you opted to receive e-mail from the National Aquarium.
