Re: My Dachshunds need help!

I hope Anna does not have something caught in her stomach.  I had a dachshund and she ate a loose piece of a toy and could not keep anything down and she had to have emergency surgery to get it out of her stomach and two years later she did it again and had to have surgery for the second time.  No matter how hard I tried she would eat things that got caught in her stomach.  She had to go the ER for eating her rawhide whole but they were able to go down her throat and pull it out.  I hope your vet took x-rays??  Watch Anna Closely.  If she still can't keep anything down you need to take her to another vet.

Both my babies are sick. I think Iam's dog food has mad them sick. Anna can't hold anything down except water. Nikko ate this morning, but only poops out a little loose stool now. Something Anna has been doing for the past few days. I took Anna to the vet yesterday. The vet did not find anything immediately wrong with Anna. She does not have a bowel obstruction. He said to give them some cooked chicken w/rice. Nikko ate it okay, Anna threw it up. I don't know what to do. I'm keeping them both on clear liquids till tomorrow afternoon at least. I thought if they seemed to be doing better, i'd try giving them a scrambled egg and go from there. Anna vomited all over the kitchen this morning 15 minutes after eating the chicken rice this morning. They both seem okay this afternoon. I am afraid if I try to feed them again now, fearing they'll throw it up. We have been having issues with the Iam's for about a month. I thought they might just be tired of it.I threw out on 7? lb bag and tried another bag. Now I think they knew it was bad and refused to eat it unless they were really hungry. I could use some suggestions.
