Re: [boxer lovers] Training Boxer to Walk on a Leash
I found a great book for dog training when I had a bitch that had come
from a breeder's kennel and had spent her early days in a run. She was a
sensitive little thing when I got her -- any cross word from me and she
melted. So training was HARD because ANY correction ruined the session.
This book is where I got the "sharp right turn" to let the dog think
THEY had made the goof ... and it worked wonders for her. I'm hoping my
copy is at my parent's house somewhere but I've finally found some used
at Amazon
Toward the PhD for dogs ....

It takes the training as if the (then) Obedience titles where equivalent
to BS, MS and PhD of college degrees. Excellent book!
