Hi Brenda,
Hope everything is coming along in your favor with your situation?
Thank you... I too think that we got a lovely combination of colors and pretty babies...We got all brindle this time though, no fawns, neither blue gray/beige or regular fawn..I was happy to see a couple reverse brindle... and I believe the one gray is a reverse brindle too...in blue gray....Blue Velvet...Blue Cashmere is more light beige with the blue gray mask and less brindle...both have blue eyes...she is really a pretty combination though.. soft to the eyes...The reverse brindle have a lighter color eyes but not sure what it is yet...Marcus has golden brown eyes so the regular color pups can have light eyes...
This is the last litter I plan on having... I am getting too old for all of this but I am enjoying it while it lasts... It would be nice if someone could figure out how to have them making less waste product though... LOL I guess the answer is that if it is alive it is going to poop... and pee... no way around that... but the pleasure of holding them close to your heart and having them give you doggy kisses is worth it all...They come jumping to the doorway when they see me now...that is precious..and Little Bit is very talkative...she is a cutie, so pretty with all the white markings and so little... will take her in and have her checked but she is very active and alert even if she is little... the other reverse brindle is the largest of the litter... Onyca..she is a beauty..
I have been doing well since my heart surgery but now I have been told I have severe carpal tunnel in my left hand and need an operation soon... I told the doc I have puppies I need to sell first.. he said.. well don't wait to long...being that August is too long...so hopefully all goes well and I can be able to do that in his time frame... I also have had trouble with my left knee for several years now and they took an x-ray and it is bone on bone but the Orthopedic doc said to put it off as long as I can cause it is a painful surgery and recovery... so we will see about that one..
I plan on getting Boo spayed as soon as it is medically safe for her to do that..I don't want to traumatize her anymore than necessary... she had too much taken out of her with this litter...
She is doing good now but she had a spell after about 3 weeks and had to go on antibiotics cause a bacteria took over her cause she was having so much taken out of her with all the pups... she is doing great now and weaning the pups but she still wants to go in the room with them... and after about a minute or two wants back out... LOL....as you could see why in the pic...
She has been such a sweet heart and is a really good mommy... She only lost 2 lbs from before she got pregnant( 74lbs down to 72lbs) and when she got sick so it was not a matter of her losing weight but just her immune system was overloaded I guess..in spite of the fact that I gave her so much good stuff ..she was hungry all the time and about every two hours during the day she was getting either Blue Buffalo dog food or something good for her ... yogurts, eggs, steamed chicken, cottage cheese etc., to keep her milk up...she did good.. all are healthy and full of vigor... LOL and all are lovers...They have been on Blue Buffalo Large breed puppy kibble with goat milk but I plan on getting them on Diamond Naturals Large breed puppy...A lot of people can't afford the Blue Buffalo dog food and Diamond Naturals is the next best thing but about half the price... My boxers have all been raised on it except when Boo got pregnant I put her on Blue Buffalo
to be sure she got everything she needed....
Well I better go I guess.. Alan and I together got the pups fed. They are asleep now and I want to try to catch a few more winks before I have to get started today...
We sold our goats this week so that is one thing less I have to care for...and right now that helps...There were only 4 adults and 3 kids but they still needed attention....there are not enough hours in the day to do everything that needs to be done with all the animals and now an extra 9 puppies...
So glad to hear from you... I still remember your call while I was in the hospital... God Bless and keep you...
