My name is Ann I live in So. Ut with my 2 toy poodles Dixie and WW (7 yr & 5), our 16 yr old Aussie, our new doxie Sparkle who we think is around 1 1/2 or 2 plus an assortment of birds and one kitty.I have not had a doxie since high school (at least 100 yrs ago)Instead of a car I wanted a dachshund so I got Baron my red smooth coat standard.He was wonderful but even though my soon to be husband was around a lot he never did take a liking to him. Our new little girl loves my husband which is a plus.We got her from an older lady that had seen her at the animal shelter, she knew nothing about doxies but when her old poodle died she wanted something to keep her company. Then she found out that there is nothing she likes about the dachshund. I had kept her when she would go out of town so I feel in love, finally she said that if we could find her an older poodle that I could have the doxie. So last Friday I brought her home, changed her name and she now has a forever home. She is such a good fit. Sorry this was so long. I can see that the list is somewhat quite now I hope this will pick up and I can meet and learn from others that have this wonderful little love
