[boxer lovers] Added pics to the Facebook album Boo and her puppies

Hi,

Well the pups are 3 weeks old since yesterday and they are starting to eat... I asked the Vet and she said it was fine to crush up puppy kibble in their goat milk and let them lap it up... and.... they did...and how!!!

Also I started using newspaper in the swimming pool so I can roll it up and throw it away... I was worried that it would not be good for Boo to try to clean up after the pups by licking the news paper but the Vet said it would not be enough to hurt her... hopefully she is right...

I also asked about timing for their 7 in one shots...and she said as long as the momma was current on her shots that the puppies would be immuned until 6 or 7 weeks old...   I gave Boo her 7 in one booster just before we bred her and her rabies booster also so the pups should be good for a few more weeks now... I was thinking they were suppose to start at 4 weeks...she said that the moms immunity fights the vaccine if taken while they are still immuned from her.  This I did not know so it is good to ask questions... just in case you may have forgotten something...It has been 3 1/2 years since Maggie had Boo and her siblings...

Here is the link to the facebook album... the pups are up walking around and playing with each other now...and they are getting their teeth... grrrrrrrrr and momma is not wanting to nurse them so it is time for them to learn to eat...  we have been feeding them goat milk as a supplement to her nursing them for the last week an a half already...they are getting chubby... and really cute... I imagine they weight about 3-5 lbs now...need to weigh them again...  I wormed them for the first time last week but I did not see any worms like usually you do...so maybe the DE ( Diatomaceaus Earth) I gave Boo did go through her milk and worm them also...anyway I will worm them again next week to be sure ...
Hope the link works...is does sometimes and not others..not sure why...  To all that need a puppy fix... Enjoy... :O)
