Hi, Nancy -- thanks! I will give this a try. Don't know why on earth I haven't thought of it myself! but it's been winter most of the time we've had him. I will get some spray bottles and give it a shot, literally, LOL. We tried putting pennies in a can and shaking it at him but he loves that noise and wants to fight us to get the can.
We just totally have no experience with an alpha type dog, all our others were so laid back and agreeable and strangers loved them.
Our other huge problem is taking him through fast food drive-thru's. The poor people throw the food at us and slam the window shut before we can ask for ketchup cuz Clancy is ready to kill them. He loves the hamburgers but not the people who sell them. I will attempt a spray bottle there, as well!
Love my little Cujo but he's a family-only kind of guy.
