Papers can be obtained for showing in obedience, agility, and junior showmanship events, even if the dog is spayed or neutered and does not meet conformation standards. After getting a rescue you can go through akc for limited registration and get papers. I have a rescue that was a show dog, but was rejected, then rehomed to a pet home and was finally discarded at a small shelter. Now he is my sweet baby and is the prettiest boxer on the planet!

You may or may not remember my Boxer, Hogan, passed away about a year and a half ago, November 15, 2010. I have missed him terribly since although I have two other dogs (not boxers, a Cane Corso and a shepherd mix). Not a day has gone by that I have not thought of him. Anyway, I am at the point now where I am looking for a Boxer puppy. I thought about rescue but I would like to show and I also think my Cane Corso would accept a puppy far better than if I brought home a full grown dog. I am looking for a very nicely marked flashy fawn male. I am in the Ohio area but can travel reasonable distance for the right pup. If anyone hears of anyone with a puppy meeting the description of what I am looking for, I would appreciate the info. The puppy will be very well care for and spoiled rotten.
