Hi Pam,
Did you ask the Vet what causes pancreaitis? Since we know that good food is not a problem then it must be the kind of stuff that causes us problem too...If we eat good healthy food then it should be ok to let our dogs have some too... I am sure many people don't know what is good for us or our dogs...and the Vets can't re educate us so they say just give the dog ...dog food... that is made for them.... That is one I will have to ask my Vet about.. cause I know that Vets don't like people to give table food to dogs...but I have not asked why... They also will suggest dog food that is not really good for our dogs. Stuff that had the main ingredient of corn, and by-products... yuck..you have to really look and read ingredients to find a good dog food.
