I am in upstate NY. I am willing to travel to look and pick up the puppy. I contacted a rescue group but have not heard anything. I want to bond with the puppy so I would not prefer anything too old. I would consider a male or female. can anyone point me in the right direction. I have had a boxer before. They are wonderful, on so many different levels. I have children and a mixed rescue, goats & chickens. and even with baby goats due to arrive any day now, my heart still sais it is empty with out my boxer. so even though I can't replace her, I do so desperately want to fill this hole. It must be a pure boxer, I just want know what I am getting I had tried in the past to rescue a non boxer and ended up having my 6 year old in the er receiving 27 stitches. It is not that I don't like other breeds It is just that if you know boxers, and I know you all do, they are wonderful with children. I am not in a rush but I do want to do my research on where the puppy is coming from, and I want to make a relationship with who the puppy is coming from.
