I adopted my shar pei Curtis from a rescue group, he has Shar pei fever &
is in Renal Failure, I give him fluids at home.
BUT his levels have improved so we are happy about that. I know all too
well the heartache of watching a beloved dog
become ill, I can not do it again, its also another reason I will not get
another shar pei, not until they start testing for FSF.

I am lucky to were my husband has his own business & I can work from home,
My husband works alot
I am home 90% of the time, also because my boy Curtis has separation
anxiety, it has gotten worse since our beloved Mia
passed away. I contacted an animal behaviorist, our vet feels its
biochemical.

I wish we were able to have a second child, we are lucky to be blessed with
our daughter. I would never
have a puppy & a new born at the same time, EVER, I am not nuts! lol.

I won't & I am so glad you responded, I am learning so much! like I said
before we are in no rush.
we want to make our shar pei Curtis healthy first. he loves other dogs, he
plays rough, he needs
a dog that can play back with him, he is like a jack russel in a shar pei
wrinkle coat,
