Good Morning,
Athens Clarke County Animal Control, 125 Buddy Christian Way (45 Beaverdam
Rd. Ext. for GPS), Athens, GA 706 613-3540.
Hours of Operation: 10 to 4 daily and weekends (closed Wednesdays).
Yesterday, the staff was given a mom and her nine puppies. Apparently, the
mom, Julia, gave birth on someone's porch. The individual was moving and
took her to animal control. Julia is sweet and her puppies are bundles of
joy. In the photo, they are sleeping in a laundry basket.
Animal Control is no place for this wonderful family. If you know of a
rescue group or individual who can foster them for a few weeks, until the
pups are weaned, please call Animal Contol 706 613-3540.
