I recently took in as a foster home, a pair of doxies sisters and need to
find a home for them. They were born on March 23 2010, so they are now 10
months old. One is a black & tan and the other is a solid Mahoney red. Both
weigh n around 14-16 lbs. Small framed and have very sweet personalities.
The red female is a bit shy, whereas the black & tan is out going , but they
are very strongly bonded and need to be kept together. (I tried to break
them up and it didn't work out, they both pined away separated to the point
I had to bring them back here.) They play well together, are housebroken
with the aid of a doggie door and a fenced in yard. Very active, super
friendly and good with kids and other animals including other dogs. Only bad
habit so far has been the need to still chew on things, as most puppies will
do. (Working on that!)
So if anyone is looking for a pair of sister doxies, I have two that need a
"Forever home". Will be happy to send photos of the girls and more
information to anyone that is interested in providing a good home for them.
