The group got flooded with rescue notices and the conversations got lost and I think people just stopped. Kudos to rescue people for their work, but I am not sure this was the right venue. Anyway, I had two doxies, black and brown shorthairs brother and sister I had adopted at 2 years old, and last May at 8 yrs old I had to put my girl Moxie to sleep due to her kidney failure. It hurt pretty bad. Mason, her brother had issues, looking around the house for her and such, but he's better now, but has some behavior issues since Moxie was the alpha and made all the decisions and he now has to, including not allowing another dog in the household. I'm working with an animal behaviorist now, we're making progress and doing some neat things
