I use a mixture of - 60% distilled water, 30% Organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother in it) and 10% hydrogen peroxide. I also use this myself as I have alergies in my ears, its very soothing, does not burn. I was told this by a Dr. of a board that I belong to for Kidneys, my angel Britania Marie was very sensative to everything, and this worked for her ears. ACV is wonderful for a lot of stuff, anso Manuka Honey. Penny and Roger

Does anyone have a recipe for an inexpensive home made ear wash? Or have you have used a comercial product that you really felt was helpful? My boxer mix has a mild case of itchy ears. No pain, but loves to have the base of her ears massaged and they are a little waxey. Also what are your favorite shampoos for bathing? She stinks just like a dog. (People have told me that Labs have a stronger smell than most other breeds so we will just blame the Lab side of her heritiage! <VBG>). Thanks in advance for your help,
