A week ago today, we drove to Lancaster CA to meet three prospective foster pups. After some serious consideration and a little debate, we went home with Emily, a black and tan smooth dachshund.
Today Joy (from Dachshund Rescue and Placement) came to our home and we signed the paperwork to adopt. It’s official; she’s ours – totally and completely.
