My two, Mayhem and Tovi, think they are made of spun sugar and will melt in
the rain! If there is the least chance of moisture, they will stand in the
doorway and stare at the yard like it is made of lava and me like I am crazy
(I am, but that is beside the point<G>)
It is worse when it is also cold. These two are nuts! They'll spend all day
checking to see if the yard is dry enough for their delicate toes and, if
not, they will not venture beyond the garage door and hold it to the point
of bursting bladders! Mayhem will simply NOT go in the house but Tovi will.
In the winter, she is REALLY bad about pooping in the hall. If it has been
raining for a few days, she'll even pee in the hall.
I mean, I can sometimes coax them to the yard, at least long enough to go.
But, if they don't they'll usually hold it for a while. And, in Chattanooga,
the saying goes, if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes! But, these
two, they are fanatical. I see videos of boxers playing in mud and swimming
pools and that is just foreign to me! Mine HATE to be wet.
Anyone else have Twinkle Toe dogs?
Also, remember on Turkey day that cooked turkey is a very bad thing for your
puppies, especially the cooked bones! But, raw turkey and raw bones are a
special treat!
