Hi Cheryl. Thanks for repsonding. Here are pictues of Chester. he is an adult. Not sure if he is a mixed Doxie or what. He was brought in as a stray in Aug to Friends of the Animals, Tipton,IA. He was briefly adopted to a older man who he got along with great. The man had a lot of grandkids and Chester did not get along with all of them altho he did really like some of them. He loves to sit on your lap. If you can help me with Chester email Kathy at echowoman54@msn.com He is presently at Friends of the Animals in Tipton, IA and is on both their Petfinder and Adopt a Pet page.

Chester is a short coat and a regular size Dachshund.  He really is a good boy but when you first meet him he can be very timid.  Once he gets to know you he wants to sit on your lap all the time.  He is not good with all kids but does seem to like some of them.  As I said he was adopted briefly by an older man with a lot of grandkids.  He did not like all of them, so he was brought back.  He did get along great with adults though.  I have him on Petfinder and Adopt a Pet but have not updated his profile on them.  He was just brought back.

 

If you do take him I will make sure he has his heartworm test because I would not want another thing like happened with MaLou.  You know I pick out certain dogs I really want out of there and he is one of those dogs right now. He deserves a good home!
