It will stop that behavior.  She's so small, it could seriously hurt her back.  When Doxies go down, it's generally from cumlultive injuries you don't really notice at the time.  You don't want to set her up for problems down the road.

She is the tinest little thing I have ever seen - just 5.25 lbs at 14 months old. Yep months not weeks. She is spayed. We also have a male that is 2 years old, about 12 lbs and not neutered.

He has been super hyper since we got her and wants to hump her. I take him to my moms about every week and he plays with her female for hours that is also fixed and it doesn't seem to bother him.

Will he get used to her and quit humping her? We have been thinking of getting him fixed and this just may have made up our minds.
