Remember, they are talking about dogs with long legs. Their rules
don't really apply when it comes to dachsies---due to the short legs
they don't take up so much room!

I don't have the crate any more---my dear girl died last year and I
gave her crate to the local Humane Society. I just couldn't stand to
see it any more.
However, I just measured the space it occupied in my bedroom and I'd
say that it was about the medium or medium/intermediate size of this
crate:

That particular crate is very similar to Carrie Ann's crate. She had
room to turn around and stand, and she was very comfortable when she
curled up to sleep.
