Dachshund puppy with broken back needs donations! - PA

This is Sweet Pea.  She was rescued last night, but is not out of the woods yet by any means.

I received a message from her rescuer that she is so emaciated, that you can see all bones, even in her tail.   Dehydrated, nails curling in, flea bitten ears, and the worst part, her back is broken, and I think maybe her legs too, and apparently has been for some time.

This person is a humane officer of many years, and said her condition would make anyone cry.  She turned the owners in to an Allegheny County officer.  Hopefully they will get some steep punishment, but we all know how the laws are, which is why we need stricter ones.  And need everyone to vote and be educated on your representatives, local and state.  The only way people like this will not do this again, is jail time or heavy fines.

Anyway, Sweet Pea is going to DRNA Doxie rescue soon, but will need a LOT of help with x-rays, medication, and probably a wheelchair and surgery.

Here is her chip in link.  This local rescue here in Pittsburgh are the ones who assisted in saving her and I know the lady personally who saved her, but don't have the funds or a foster to take care of her, which is why DRNA has so graciously offered to take her, but they could really use funds.

The woman who saved her had sweet pea at her home for a short time last night and said she was trying to play with her dogs, so sad.  She couldn't, because she can't even walk, she just drags her hind legs behind her.

Please share with anyone who you think might want to help.  Even if you donate just $5 it will help.

Thank you for all that you do for the animals.
