donna,

this is what i found out and where you can send a donation. her soon to be foster mom wrote this:

They can send it to our treasurer, and make it out to DRNA.
Jane Lantx, DRNA
7821 Sabre Court
Manassas, VA 20109.

I am in awe of people's generosity.
Sweet Pea/Petula is going to the ortho vet tomorrow at 5:00. The vet will call me then to give me a report.
Cathy said she is doing well right now and is such a love. Poor baby.

Dachshund puppy withbroken back needs donations! - PA
This isSweet Pea.  She was rescued last night, butis not out of the woods yet by any means.
Ireceived a message from her rescuer that she is so emaciated, that you can seeall bones, even in her tail.   Dehydrated, nails curling in, fleabitten ears, and the worst part, her back is broken, and I think maybe herlegs too, and apparently has been for some time.

Thisperson is a humane officer of many years, and said her condition would makeanyone cry.  She turned the owners in to an Allegheny Countyofficer.  Hopefully they will get some steep punishment, but we all knowhow the laws are, which is why we need stricter ones.  And need everyoneto vote and be educated on your representatives, local and state.  Theonly way people like this will not do this again, is jail time or heavy fines.
Anyway, Sweet Pea is goingto DRNA Doxie rescue soon, but will need a LOTof help with x-rays, medication, and probably a wheelchair and surgery.
Here is her chip in link. This local rescue here in Pittsburgh are the ones who assisted in savingher and I know the lady personally who saved her, but don't have the funds or afoster to take care of her, which is why DRNA has so graciously offered to takeher, but they could really use funds.
Thewoman who saved her had sweet pea at her home for a short time lastnight and said she was trying to play with her dogs, so sad.  Shecouldn't, because she can't even walk, shejust drags her hind legs behind her.
Pleaseshare with anyone who you think might want to help.  Even if you donatejust $5 it will help.
Thank you for all that youdo for the animals.
