While we won't get to see the actual Puppy Bowl VIII (2012) until
Super Bowl Sunday in February, here are a lot of pictures of GO Boxer
Rescue's Puppy Bowl Super Star. Sorry could only take pics from the
monitors around the studio, but they wouldn't let us into the actual
Bowl field where they were taping, for obvious reasons. Hunter-3774,
was born in GOBR at 1:38 PM on 3 August 2011 from Sweetpea, a puppy
mill girl from a raid in N KY, and was the only Boxer in the Puppy
Bowl. He is white with a patch on right side of his head so you'll
be able to pick him out. He was selected as one of the Star Spangled
Banner pups where those pups are shown in front of the banners from
the various sponsors. As you'll see in those head shots, he was in
front of the Animal Planet banner.
Patti, his Foster Mom, as well as Adoptive Mom, and I had a great
time, along with Willie B and Hunter who were real troopers, on our
trip to New York City for the filming, but was a lot of traffic
challenge with the construction we encountered, the traffic around
and in the city, and on the return trip, those plus pouring down rain
and strong winds. Poor Willie B, who squats, wasn't impressed with
the lack of ground to potty on in the City. LOL
