Female spayed Black and Tan Doxie/Chihuahua smooth hair 14lbs 8 yrs

She is spayed.

I can give you digital pictures.

I am surrendering her because I am threatened with eviction from my Section 8 housing and would be homeless.  I simply do not have any money to move.  I moved once before because of her.  This is a heartbreaking decision for me.  I love her so much.  She is so good for me.

I can get you all her Vet records.

She is up to date on all shots.  She got nasal Bordatella vaccination on September 4, 2011.

She is leash trained, but sometimes balks.  She loves going for rides in cars.

I've never wormed her.  She got flea medicine last month.

Her teeth were cleaned three years ago, but need cleaning again. She is very good at getting a bath and ears cleaned.  Scared of nail clipping, but submits okay.

Don't know how she is with young kids, but okay with older male kids.  Really likes boys and Men.  Does not like girls. The only person she has snapped at is my friend who is a very girly woman. She prefers a calm environment. I really think the best fit for her would be a single less active person or couple.  A senior person would be perfect.  She goes out in the unfenced yard unaccompanied to potty then comes back in. When told to leave kitties alone she does.  Tolerates my friend's cat.  Does okay with other dogs, She is pretty spoiled and doesn't like to share toys. She is not aggressive, just sneaky and bratty.

She barks a lot, but I don't think more than any other doxie; and mainly as a guard dog.  She is not completely potty trained.  I have not had any training done on her.  She knows basic commands. Up, Down, sit, stay, lay down. Also "move over", "this way", "Let's go to Mommy's bed", "get the toy", "get under there", "get over here", "Don't Lick", "Enough", "Out" (she will get out of the kitchen and wait at the doorway for a reward.)  She gives "kisses".

She loves stuffed toys.  She loves chewing her skunk and raccoon with squeakers but no stuffing. But sometimes needs to have strings pulled out of teeth afterwards. She loves squeakers. She loves to shred bubble wrap. Pop it and she goes bonkers; but watch your fingers as she takes it from you!

She has a shallow toy box and will go and pick out new toys to play with.  Of course she loves to burrow under blankets and sleep with you and on your lap. She likes having her own chair or spot on the couch. She is actually quite active and playful for her age.  She is just not used to walking very much, so needs to take that on gradually or will cry from sore muscles. She loves greenies.  I get the generic ones from Winco and wet them and soften them in the microwave, so I can cut them in fourths for her.  She gets a tiny treat after she goes potty outside. I use Natural Choice crunchy treats with real carrots.

She also gets Authority crunchy dog treats made with peanut butter and banana. She likes rawhide chews but prefers the flat ones to the rolled up ones.  She likes pig ears.  Her preferred dog food is Benefull.  I used to have her on Pro Plan but she had constipation even tho I was giving her frozen peas, too.  But Benefull has solved that problem.  She still loves her frozen peas.

She is healthy.

She is not completely potty trained.  She asks to go out most times.  It is best to take her out at regular times.  If you are gone, she uses the piddle pads to pee and most times to poo.  But, she poos on the carpet sometimes.

The only medical issues she has are cataracts and severe tartar on teeth.  No skin problems.  I think she has a skin allergy to grass fertilizer or weed killer.  I'm not sure which because we have people do that for our apts. Her low belly gets a rash for a few days after they spread it.

She has a growth/inflammation on the underside of her tail by the rectum.  The vet said not to worry about it; it is due to her licking there all the time.  She has licked there since I got her .  Please get back to me soon.  My landlord wants her gone now.  I have a lot of dog accessories to help your shelter, toys, new beds, blankets, stairs,
