NYC - an older dachshund needing home

 

Please help this sweet boy!  If you don't have space for him, please cross post to help find him a foster home. Thank you! Cheryl Anderson princes7ca@yahoo.com OTRA Verified Transporter All American Dachshund Rescue www.allamericandachshundrescue.org   Contact Mihoko at mmm_mihoy@yahoo.com  Hi,  We brought home an older dachshund that we found tied to a parking meter and was left outside for more than 3 hours in the sun.  It was apparent at that time that the owner was not coming back to get him.  He is very sweet and shows no aggression.  Unfortunately, we are usually not home and not really set up to adopt a dog.  I was wondering if it is better to bring him to a local shelter or a rescue group like yours.  Please let me know ASAP.  We live in NYC but I have a car.
