It would help if you (and anyone else looking for homes for boxers) would give some indication where the dog is located. That way people can tell if it's feasible to consider her.

Subject: [boxer lovers] special home needed
We have a very special boxer that needs a home. She was left tied to a tree in the woods with her rear leg broken in two places, one hip out of socket and the other hip's head broken. She only weighed 33 pounds. We have had her since the first night. She has had four surgies at MSU to repair her legs and has gained about 25 pounds. She spent a couple of months going to water rehab and is now doing great!! She is about a year old, at least that is what the vet thinks. She is no longer under vet care and does not take any meds. She does LOVE to snuggle, run, play with people and bigger dogs. We love her and only want the best home for her. Her only problem is that she can not be trusted around small pets. She has tried to attack our chihauhua a couple of times but last Wednesday she grabbed off the couch and almost killed her. The chihauhua is my daughter's baby so now Daisy, the boxer must go. Daisy has a facebook page where you can see her pictures and read more of her story. I am not looking for anything other than a loving home for her! It you would like I could bring her to meet you and see what you think. Also if you were to adopt her, I would take her back at any time if it did not work out. Like I said, she is very special. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Saving-Daisy/200481073301350
