I was a member back in the 70s and 80s when I was actively showing. Then Real Life got complicated. Even did a stint as editor then.
Thankfully there are now COMPUTERS available. I can remember doing that old newsletter on a typewriter praying I'd make no typos. At least the Shorts didn't get copied using a mimeograph!
By the way as info. Arvey labels has a nifty online "Wizard" for merging a mailing list done on Excel with their labels. So if you find yourself needing to do a mailing, check into that. If your address book is in anyway digital, you can fairly easily convert to another digital format. I'd be glad to help anyone finding themselves in that predicament. Just email me off list.
