Subject: urgent 4 yo dox needs a home

We need a foster/adoptive home for a 4 y.o. red, smooth, neutered male named Ben. He is terrified and that said, will nip if you try and pick him up out of his crate.once out, he is a regular dachshund. Digs, runs, has a good time. Not food aggressive, likes other dogs. Please please someone help Ben. He is from a GA rescue and the person caring for him now is leaving for a two week vaca by the end of the week and cannot keep him. PLEASE someone dachshund savvy take little Ben (apprx 13 pounds) and help him get over his skittishness. I've had 4 biters in my household and you would never know it now. I can't take him. We have 10 dogs and now I work out of the house in an office.
I met Ben and he is so cute. If you are dachshund savvy, then you know what I am talking about with him. Poor thing. He needs a chance.
I have a brand new 8 x 6 aluminum run with a canopy and a small dog house (home built and beautiful) to anyone who will please take Ben and work with him. I'm telling you, he will be worth it. please ask others, your friends, anyone you think can help. You all know I would help you as best I could if you were in a bind and saw a dog like this…
The person holding Ben will be shipping him back to the GA shelter where he came from if we don't' help.
