Poor Nicki (20 lbs.) was living with people who were abusive to her and her 6 babies (3 lbs. each-tiny!); they are all now safe with a foster who is taking wonderful care of this little family! Rascal (18 lbs.) was owner-surrendered to a TN vet clinic, and has won the hearts of everyone there :) Please help me get this group to rescue in MI this weekend!! All pertinent info is available under "Passengers". Pics are below - please email me if they don't come through, I will send privately. As always, this transport will be fully-monitored by phone & email.
If you can assist, please provide your phone/cell, car/color, plates/state, rescue/vet reference (if you haven't driven for me before) and preferred meeting places on either side of your leg. Permission to crosspost to reputable drivers & lists - but please do NOT post to Craigslist. Thank you for considering this transport!

REASON: FOSTER (Nicki/Pups) & VET CLINIC (Rascal) TO RESCUE
PASSENGERS:
2 CRATES WILL BE PROVIDED: 1 large wire crate for Mom & 6 babies, 30"L x 19"W x 21"H ; 1 small plastic crate for Rascal, approx. 24"L x 16"W x 15"H Both adult dogs traveling with leashes/collars/id, vet/shelter paperwork, health certificates, food. Pups are still nursing at only 5 wks. old, NO PAWS ON GROUND-PUPS REMAIN IN CRATE W/MOM AT ALL TIMES! Pups will be sent with health certificates, vet paperwork. *NICKI: Chihuahua/DachshundX female, approx. 2-3 y/o, 20 lbs. UTD/DHPP & rabies, will be spayed by rescue once pups are weaned. Nicki is very sweet & loving - she becomes anxious if separated from pups. Detailed instructions for handling will be provided in final run sheet.
*6 BABIES: Chihuahua/Dachshund/Boston TerrierX pups, 5 weeks old at transport, 3 lbs. each, too young for vax. NO PAWS ON GROUND, PLEASE HANDLE THEM AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE! Detailed instructions for handling will be provided in final run sheet.
*RASCAL: Pug/YorkieX male, 4 y/o, 18 lbs., UTD/DHPP & rabies, HW negative, altered. Owner-surrender to vet hospital. Rascal has hair loss due to flea allergy. He has been treated for fleas and was also tested (negative) for mange as a precaution. His hair is starting to grow back, but he is still bald in spots. Rascal is very sweet & social!
