Hi Mary
Our local Fire dept runs the fireworks in a nearby cinder pit. For you city folk that don't know what a cinder pit is, its like a small quarry but has cinders in it instead of big rocks. My 2 girls have sat with me on the porch and we watched the fireworks. I would normally have a hand on each of them and they knew it was ok. After the ahow was over we would go inside or they would just run around the property like they usually do. As far as me doing them, NO.

I do not do fireworks. I saw some jerks who shot off some big ones and started a fire on the roof of a neighbor's house. Sparklers are the most I would even do.
