 DIETZ- URGENT
Dietz (A13648513) is an 11-year-old  female Dachshund that is super cute! She is quite active and in good shape physically for an older girl. She does have a skin tag or two, and long nails but otherwise is in good shape! She is very friendly and social with every new person she meets. She wiggles and wags at the front of the cage and loves to give kisses. She knows how to walk on a leash, but her nails are a little on the long side, so going out to the bathroom in the backyard might be more her speed.  She doesn't mind being lifted in and out of her kennel, and with Dachshunds, especially older ones, it's a good idea to lift them up or down large jumps anyway.  Dietz was surrendered by her family because she killed their cat, and she should not go to a home with any cats or  small animals in the future.  A strong prey drive is not uncommon in hounds, and those are her roots, after all.  Give Dietz a chance at a cat-free home!
