Re: New member says hello, again

Take her with you when you pick out your pup.  See which one she
likes.  If that is ok with the breeder.
I find with dachshunds that two females together is fine as is
a male and a female.  Two males may not be a good idea, but if
they are neutered they are usually fine together.  Not so with
other breeds.

Hi Pam,
I love your Cinnamon (Sir Barksalot. There are days when I call Chrissy Ms. McBarky.

Speaking to an owner of two pups, I'm getting a bit concerned about my puppy choices. The new litter is 3 girls and 2 boys, 3 black and tan and 2 wild boar. I described Chrissy's traits and told the breeder that color and sex wasn't as important as personality. Now, I wonder if I should be more specific. We don't care. But how well do they get along? Girl-boy, girl-girl??? Our bichon is dominant and she is submissive and they are like oil and water, so you can see where I'm going. We will love which ever, but Chrissy might not. Maybe I should let her pick the right one. Is that possible?

I'm getting way too anal about all this, please excuse.

Bev
