It is MO that they will suffer from separation. This is not to say they won't adjust eventually, but they each will mourn the loss of the other. They have been together a long, long time. It would be the same as losing a mate if a person.
In MO it would be best if they could stay together. If not possible it will take tender loving care, much attention and much reassurance and understanding on the part of the families who do take them separately.
I did rescue first one and then the other of a pair like that. The first one was so sad and lonely I had to take the other one then. They were so happy to see each other again after 4 months separation they wouldn't leave the others side even for a potty break for several months.
Good luck with finding a family or families for these babies.
