I thought about that myself. Should I take up the dish or leave it. she sometimes goes back to her old way and eats as she always did. she would get a cup every day and I would divide it so she would have some for the early morning, tiny bit lunch and then supper. could she be cutting herself down? She hasnt ate yet and it is 9am. she is taking a nap.

Hey Donna,

It sounds like she is eating just at different times. Remember that an adult dog does not need as much food as a puppy.

Try changing his food to a grain free diet. I switched my dogs over to Taste of the Wild about 2 months ago and they LOVE it! I switched mine because Hannah has a weight problem so I wanted to eliminate the grains. Their coats are just beautiful! Often times a dog with allergies has a problem with the food but the vets don't ever seem to tell the owners that. They want to keep treating the dog. Or they will recommend Science Diet which is loaded with chemicals. Think about what your dog would be eating if he/she lived in the wild. How many wolves do you see with skin problems?
