We buy the unstuffed plush toys for our two dachsies. They tear the squeakers out after 1-2 hours and it is hard to tell what they started out as after a day or two. Our dachsies still love to play with the toys even after they look don't look so good. We don't throw them away until they get pretty unsanitary and then we replace them with new ones. They seem to love them the longer they have them.
