Re: Re:

They usually go back to where they peed before.  Pour white vinegar on that spot and that will get rid of the odor.  When I had my carpets cleaned the man that cleaned my carpets told me that and I tried it and it took away the smell.
Thats why crate training is so important.  They will not pee in their crate.  Dachshunds are hard to potty train.  Maggie Mae was a year and a half before I trained her.  My Tibetan Terrier was trained at eight months.  Dachshunds are such sweet loving dogs but are stubborn.  Maggie Mae just turned three the end of March and now I am going through the barking stage.  She barks at everything.  She barks when there is nobody around.  Thank God I live on a corner lot and nobody lives behind me.  There is a field in the back of me.  I had to fence in the back yard because it she got away I would never find her.  I love her to death but she will not pay attention to anything I say.  She will give me that dachshund look and I let her get away with it.  I will not let her get away with peeing in the house.  They want to please you so let Dottie know that peeing the the house does not please you.  I don't mean spank her but raise your voice and say bad dog and then put her outside.  I feel your pain.

We work all day from 7 to sometimes 530 soshe holds it and then when we get home she can't wait and there she goes. And it is always in the same place, near the table infront of the glass door. she is getting better.

I had the same problem with my Tibetan Terrier.  I blocked off the dining room with gates and I poured white vinegar e dog pooped and that will get rid of the odor.  I put her out several times and if she pooped she got a treat.  It was not an overnight cure but she finally got the picture.  Normally they go to the same place inside to poop.  If that is the case block it off with gates and use the vinegar to hide their scent.
