[boxer lovers] Med ? - Peritoneal hernia

 

Understand a common name for these is "Monkey Butt" but whater you might call them, what can anyone tell me about them, in particular in Boxers.  I'm hearing that the majority of cases are in Boxers, not other breed, which I had not heard before.  I've not had any personal experience with them, nor has our rescue group.  However, we, GO Boxer Rescue, have a boy in now that has one.  Would love to gather some information, any experience with them that anyone has had.  How successful was the surgery to repair the hernia, and anything else anyone can share.
