Sending prayers your family's way. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

She had spontaneous bullae develop in her lungs. Five blister like lesions that were bursting and putting air outside her lungs. They were producing pressure that was in return suffocating her. The kids took her to University of Illinois where she was operated on and in ICU for over a week. Ultimately, they were told that she would never be able to live outside of ICU and the kids had to put her to sleep. Now we are all holding our breath waiting to see if the pet insurance will pick up most of the cost. $12,000 and no dog. Their house is so quiet. Poor little girl she had so many health issues; she was sick almost from the moment they got her.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to a reputable rescue group or a breeder that cares about the quality and not just the money. I'm just absolutely sick over this. Cindy
